Terms And Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Sammy's Soft Play (referred to as "we", "our", or "us") and the customer ("you", "your") for the hire of soft play equipment. By making a booking, you agree to the following terms:


1. Booking & Payments


1.1 Non-Refundable Booking Deposit – A non-refundable deposit of £50is required at the time of booking to secure your date. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

1.2 Full Payment – The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days before your event. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without a refund.

1.3 Refundable Security Deposit – A security deposit of £50 is required before the event. This deposit will be refunded within 3 days after the event, provided there is no damage, excessive dirt, or missing equipment.

1.4 Payment Methods – We accept payments via bank transfer / other accepted payment methods.


2. Cancellations & Refunds


2.1 Customer Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel more than 14 days before your event, any payments made (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable, unless rescheduling is possible.

2.2 Rescheduling – We will try to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.

2.3 Cancellation by Us – In rare cases, if we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, equipment failure), we will offer a full refund or rescheduling at your choice.


3. Equipment Use & Safety


3.1 Supervision – A responsible adult must supervise the equipment at all times. Sammy Softplay is not responsible for injuries occurring during use.

3.2 Suitable Play Area – Equipment must be set up on a flat, clean, and safe surface (indoors or outdoors). Outdoor hires must have a backup indoor option in case of bad weather.

3.3 Prohibited Items – The following are not allowed on or near the soft play equipment:
🚫 Shoes, sharp objects, food, drinks, face paint, glitter, confetti, or pets.

3.4 Damage or Loss – Any damage, excessive dirt, or missing items may result in a deduction from the security deposit or an additional charge.


4. Setup & Collection


4.1 Delivery & Setup – We will deliver, set up, and inspect the equipment before your event.

4.2 Collection – Equipment must be ready for collection at the agreed time. Balls collected in ball pit. Late returns may incur additional charges.

4.3 Access & Parking – You must ensure we have clear access to the setup location. Any parking fees or access restrictions should be discussed in advance.


5. Liability & Responsibility


5.1 Customer Responsibility – You are responsible for the equipment from delivery until collection. Any injuries, damages, or accidents resulting from misuse are your liability.

5.2 Limitation of Liability – While we take every precaution to ensure safety, we are not liable for injuries, loss, or damage resulting from the use of our equipment.
